With the right funds to do it, anything is possible....If it does work it most likely wont be cheap, u would most likely need custom mounts and other custom parts

i think it will be fairly easy, their roughly similiar in shape, custom motor mounts yes, and an ecu maby, idk. if i ever drop in motors its allways a chevy big block or somethin

The Evo X engine is the 4B11T. Could you swap your 4B11 for a 4B11T? Probably, and it might be easier than swapping with previous Evolution engines. It'll be more expensive though; new systems and all.
Will it plug and play? HIGHLY doubtful.

After the you spend the money on an evo x motor and the entire swap you could buy an EVO X. This isnt a very practical idea and the OP is probably just creating buzz

It should bolt right up since it's the same motor.
But you know the ECU won't match. The normal 4B11 and the 4B11T are going to be tuned dramatically different.
As said, if you want a turboed Lancer, you need to trade the DE in for a X.
