removing the paint on calipers

hey!

About 7 month ago I painted the calipers on my white GTS in red. I've used the duplicolor spray paint as almost everybody did.

I'm selling my car soon... is there any way I can remove the paint just in case the guy thats buying it doesnt like it.

I wanna remove the paint if its not too much of a hassle.

also... how much does a original brake caliper cost (more or less)? (from the dealership lets say).

Cheers

hmm…i’m not exactly sure how to take it off…
i’d say use something like a paint thinner, but that’s probably not safe for the breaking system…so don’t.
if no one knows the ‘proper way’ to remove the paint, just repaint them silver? lol
and don’t even bother with buying new ones from the dealer…you already know they will ask too much.

yeah i bet they would cost a lot for new calipers. i personally would leave the paint on there as i have a white gts with red calipers and i think it looks great. lots of cars have painted calipers stock and if anything i think it makes the car look like its worth more.

depends on how good of a job u did,
for my calipers i rushed it and i was at the car wash the other day and thought i saw a spot on there so i got in nice and close with the high pressure hose and it started to peel/flake bits off (i used proper high temp caliper paint)
