Update:

Made a relay harness for it and it does the same thing, It just flickers with the headlights switch in the on position. Any suggestions.

I'm about to just say heck with it and use the parking light

You can always just go with the option of wiring a switch that controls the low beam headlights.

okay, so does option one work as described?
anyways, Im looking at buying this kit, but im not sure if it has everything I need in it that I will need... afeudale says it needs to come with a relay and harnesses... my kit comes with the ballasts and bulbs, what relay are we talking about now? and what is the harness? im so lost. I put the capacitor on the relay in the fuse box, right? Sorry for the newb Qs but Im trying to do this and im hesitant. anyways, heres the kit im looking at... does it have everything I need? thx a lot guys.

I've been running 55w HID's since December. Haven't caused any problem.

It doesn't look like there is a relay with this kit, not sure why they have that smaller black box between the ballast and bulb, it could possibly be a flicker eliminator. Best to call the company and ask

here is a simpler way IMO, you power the headlights with the parking lights and take out the headlight relay. this will work on any Mitsubishi without factory HIDs. the guy that taught that method to me did it to his lancer as well.
