Turbo Installation Question

i know there is enough information for me to install my turbo on my lancer
but just a question
would u rather pay $850 to get it installed by a company that has done it many times b4 or would you rather try it on your own and learn from your mistakes and have that experience but having the risk of really damaging your car?
what do you all think?

Do it yourself bro! Its not hard to do at all. The hardest and time cosuming thing to do is tap that oil pan. Besides, if something goes wrong while your on the road you gonna call that person to come fix it? Nope, your gonna have to do it yourself cause you can't take it to the dealership.

If you want to, you can pay me $500, I'll come out there and do it for you! I'll tell you what everything does and how to trouble shoot it.

Just do it yourself. I don't have an extensive mechanical background and had no experience doing anything like a turbo install. I got mine finish and running smoothly after about 15hrs. Then took a 2hr drive to get back to my school without any issues...

If you are not 100% sure on how everything is installed, its best to atleast have a friend to help. Worst thing is to start a job and cant finish it or damage something

^^ Just buy a tactrix cable. I picked up one of these (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/USB-C...3A1|240%3A1318) I am awaiting it to be shipped, and then we will see if it is a $15 well spent.

OP: It seems rather easy. I plan on installing it my self. For $850, you might as well take it to get it tuned for that much. Or buy some aesthetics at least.

The only thing about that cable is that you can only read from the ecu, you can't write to it.
