Unhappy Fan Control Relay, over heating issues. OZ Rally

So my fans on my car have officially stopped working..before anyone destroys this thread, i have searched the forums, none of it really pertains to me. My car overheats on idle...very bad where i avoid traffic, take detours, and ride with no ac...in houston texas. btw, its a 2003 OZ Rally.

I bought my car with a salvaged title...joy...because Im a broke college student. Of course it voids all warranty on the car, and negates all recalls....the famous p0421 trouble code, i fixed myself...it was the cat converter. I have searched, asked mechanics left and right, all of them say its my headers, my thermostat, my head gaskets..etc. its none of those....i keep coming across the fan control relay, but i cant find it anywhere....partstrain.com has it, but its not it..its a horn relay.

Anybody with info, spare parts, advice. unfortunately i gotta do it myself, and i dont know where to start. Id really appreciate the help..thank you.

If it helps, the Mitsu part # for the fan controller is: MR497751. Mitsubishiparts.net has it for about $70: http://www.mitsubishiparts.net/cart/?pn=MR497751

Good luck, got mine from mitsubishiparts.net and I'm still not having my fan kick on. Looking to find out if someone can walk me through how to hardwire the fans to stay on...
