im just wonder about the people who picked up the 2011's
I am trading in my 04 Acura TL and going with a 2011 Lancer GTS
couple of questions on the pricing I was given by the dealer.
The price out the door is 21986
I was given a interest rate of 5.9 and the price monthly with the 7k down is coming out to 260 a month.
Its a GTS with leather and Nav
Is that a good price for the 2011?

 

Huh? You claimed to have seen pictures of the new lancer, I said it was impossible. You are also comparing apples to applejacks here. Yes, the new lancer is going to be made by however it is not going to be in the sport compact segment anymore so obviously it will be heavier and bigger being that it is competing with a different spectrum of cars. Again, you are complaining about weight which is irrelevant. That is like saying, "Oh noes I want car A who has 185 hp instead of car B that haz 190 HP." The first car CAN be faster, it is all relative. You need to stop spewing bad information on boards as it confuses people. If you need cited examples scroll back through this post and most of your others where you claim to have an AWD GTS with stock HIDS.

 

It is all relative. Your deal cannot be easily compared to others. I got 0.0 APR for 5 years and OTF for 20k. I also bought in the height of the recession, so you can't make that comparison. I think your off your rocker though trading in the TL.

 

I'm not going to sit here and agrue about a car YOU DON'T OWN. AND especially the weight of a car.
MY CAR HAS HID'S WITH A HALOGEN LEN'S.


I guess they just put HID sticker's on any car with any type of headlights

 

Read the above threads. I DO own the car, I own TWO of them in fact. Then read the previous posts where again you claimed to have AWD on a GTS. Then read the previous posts where you claimed to have stock hid halogens. And then the next post where I explained to you that it is impossible to do so as a halogen bulb is a complete contradiction of a HID bulb. You cannot have a halogen lens on a HID setup from the dealer. READ the previous posts.

There are no stock HIDS, it is a package. No one said you don't have them, they said you didn't get them STOCK. Stock implies a car leaving the factory with 0 options installed. If you do not understand this maybe you should trade the car in and get a Corolla before you waste more money with silly mods that will never make an N/A car faster.

To help you out, N/A means Naturally aspirated which implies there is no forced induction. Being that you are telling people you have AWD, I'm sure you have claimed to have a turbo at one time or another as well.

 

Guys, keep it civil in here. This is getting way off topic. If you'd like to continue arguing over what the current Lancer has, please take it to PMs.

Lancers are all FWD until '12, when the AWD one comes out. HIDs were an option package. Not worth arguing over.
