Just bought a 2010 Lancer GTS and was talked out of buying the navigation unit by the dealer, he recommended I go aftermarket. So I did just that, bought a complete unit from ebay for around $600 and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with these units?

I saw that unit on Ebay. I have heard good and bad reviews on it, so hard to say. It may be hit or miss. I will be looking for a aftermarket system in 2012 when the Sirius Trial runs out.

 

I have it. works fine but doesnt have sat radio on it so im thinking of selling it. nice fitment and cool tv tuner.

 

Too bad I didnt know before I could have just bought yours since I'm going by Kitchener in a couple weeks

 

Hey guys quick question, that navigation from ebay, can you get it to play movies while in motion. i wanna get one for my car but it would be nice to get one i can make play while driving. i know many of them you cant... thanks guys

I assume you have a Canadian spec car which is what I have. Did you have any trouble wiring up the steering wheel phone buttons?

no it hooked up cleanly. bluetooth is great too

 

the ebrake safety wire is just a ground, just find a good ground and ground that wire and you can watch movies goin in reverse, sideways, circles, etc
