Interior & Exterior Ideas?

Hey Guys!
Well Turning 17 In Less than a month. Soo I came To realize OZ's Are a Turbo Or Nothing for performance wise. So Going With Interior and Exterior for now. OZ's are more for Looks I guess.

So What should I do with $400 bucks? I Wanna Do Exterior and Interior Lights. Anything Else I could Do?

Thanks,
-Andy

Forget interior lighting. I'd get some fabric/vinyl paint and do the pillars, headliner, and visors black. New head lights, and led bulbs for the dome light and licence plate bulbs. Carbon Fiber reflectors, smoked side markers and new grill if you can.

Those simple things will make it look different, easy to do, and cheap.

Soo you can just buy fabric or vinyl paint and I can paint it myself? I got some new head light bulbs like 2 weeks ago, have not put them in yet.

maybe put some HID's in there, and check out www.lightrikz.com and he has all the lancer bulbs for sale for the gauges and middle console. Ya a new grille would be nice or checkout some of the custom grilles made in the forums, lots of 03' OZ'z done nicely on here. I just did all my lights in my car to LED's and I love it. Just have to get my gauges done and I'm getting them from lightrikz.

My opinion, I would work exterior cosmetics. $400 though just isnt enough, everything for the evo's / lancers are just so expensive.

Main thing is JDM Rear, JDM Tails and JDM heads. Carbon Fiber lip makes the car look so much cleaner. You could spend your entire $400 on just that. Smoked Side Markers and vortex generator if you dont already have one.

not to burst your bubble or anything, but ive been through "being 17" (not putting you down) but id save your money for something nicer down the road. possibly an evo if you wanna stay that route. at that young age i realized i wanted a nicer car and i didnt waste any money on my daily driver and now im patting myself on the back bc i was able to afford the evo i wanted in the near future. just food for thought.

I'd go for a JDM look. Keep it simple. Get some eyebrows, Like eye lids but thinner. (they go over the headlights) Makes it look more aggressive. New grill. Probably could find it on Ebay. If you have the 5 spoke OZ rims. Spray paint them white. Must sand first. Looks really good with a yellow car. You also could buy red caliper paint from Wal mart and paint the calipers. Also goes well together. Also go to a hobby shop and pick up some smoke spray paint and smoke out the tail lights. (Consider you may have a hard time passing safety check). My friend did a Evo 7 conversion. All Carbon Fiber. Look really nice. Down the road if you ever decide to drop your car. Don't just get drop springs. Get full suspension and make sure you get a Camber Kit. I hope I could help. Aloha!

He's got a point here. An Basic lancer or an OZ would take you some bucks to upgrade it. A Ralliart or an Evo would be more reasonable if you want some torque or power. I mean if your going to race. I mean honestly sooner or later you'd probably wanna race. Looks won't help that. I mean it's fine if your just going for a look. Just do whatever makes you happy Bro. Not whats going to impress everyone else. Be different. Unique. It's going to take money though. If you can dream it, you can make it come true. Best luck to you.
