So... any further word on the patch for 30.99?

 

Yeah, it sucks having version 30.99 Otaku, the application updater says he is looking for a test navi with this app version but is having trouble finding it in Northern Ireland. Link below explains on the last Otaku post. Guess all we can do is play the waiting game and hope he finds someone to test on. If anyone has any updates please post them here.

When I insert the disc I get nothing. I have version 30.97, will these update discs even work with this version? Thanks

 

I tried this on my 2008 Outlander XLS it didn't work the screen said checking CD then did nothing went back to playing music.

I haven't been able to find any discussion about this version, and the hack did not work (it is not prompting me for install/update).

I didn't check my version prior to install but I have an 08 Lancer GTS, had it since the first month the car was out in NA and I never update my system before so I'm pretty sure I had some early version...

Like I said it works good, I'm also glad that now when I have the player on AUX with my Ipod in and I'm moving the screen no longer says "Cannot Display While Moving" woohoo!

Hey, any updates on 00.30.97, and is there a way to get a firmware upgrade/downgrade to 30.99/30.94, because I would try that if anyone knew how. It just seems like 30.97 is kinda left out, so I figure people like me should just change versions.

did anyone unlock version 20.68 yet? I've been search around and seems like im out of luck

 

The old 20.68 version can be updated to the latest pre-patched version by simply creating & inserting the patch disc (just follow the normal patch instructions posted elsewhere).

Did you already apply the update? I'm not sure what exactly you're asking. Once you burn the update disc and update the unit (only need to do the update once, it will continue to ask again as long as the disc is still in the drive), remove the disc and it should be patched.

If you're asking which update to download, I think its 00.30.94. Check whether your unit is EM or UM.

 

I burnt the update file, but it doesn't seem to work
it just says "check cd"
so all i have to do is download the link then unzip it and burn it?
