My compustar has a turbo timer built in with no need for extra wiring.. it seems to be the starter/alarm combo of choice up here in the north land

to be honest my job is custom installations like fiberglass installs on high end cars but on down time in my shop i install the rest of the 12 volt industry.. i have experince with dei compustar and audivox.. to be honest about 4 years ago viper and clifford were some of the best alarms and remote starts you could purchase no contest... but.. and thats a big but, they fell off drastically and they should not be compared to the old anymore, personally i spent a little more on my alarm and start and went with the compustar and to be honest compustar has superior range and features compared to anything dei.. yes compustar is a but more money but after installing both and having both i would personally never buy a dei product over a compustar anyday and i dont believe anyone who has the same experince would tell you otherwise..
