some kind of padding will resolve most of the problem, making a weadge out of foam should work just fine, i have used rags, and towels, to foam strips in the past.

I have yet to experiment with expanding foam but prolly will here in the future.

I used a peice of an eraser and put it low down between the window and deck and I have had no problems will rattles at all since then. Just cut it a hair bigger then the gap and wedge it in. Worked of me.

i just took a black sock i had (since the dryer ate the other one) and used that to wedge in between. somepeople notice it most dont lol. like is that a sock??? yup! oh cool!

i wouldnt try expanding foam at all that stuff will get every where , just use the extreme dynamat and some foam tape thats what i used never rattles

i was told you can zip tie it to the frame and it'll cut out the majority of the rattle

could also try dynamating the little slites in the truck side of the shelf since the subs push air threw those which makes ur deck rattle
