About that front crash bar

It would be cool if the vendors could offer their input on this, but anybody's would be just as good.
Anyway, I Vdub buddy of mine told me about a company of his cars persuasion, that for one of their turbo kits, they make a replacement crash bar. He described that the bar is a single tube design and would bolt up to the stock re-bar holes. So with that bar you could save space and possibly still retain a safety feature. Or not, I don't know, its just something I was wondering.
Anyway, I just wondered if anybody considered making something like that work.
Alright guys, let me know if I am on to something or if I just wasted some space on the forum

i don't think our cars are really affected by this... its more or less the 04's i believe... on ours its the rear bar, and that can be adjusted by shaving part of that bar and part of the liecense plate holder...

Well, I thought for sure that the importtrenz front bumper could only be installed without the front re-bar. Am I wrong, cause if so I'll buy their kit once I get the cash for it. But I could of swore the bar has to be removed.
Allright guys more input please

doesn't sound like a bad idea.
some of the older people is accolade kits had to remove their front bar, so they may want it back so insurance won't kill them if they do get into a wreck.

the best thing to do would be to call and ask them which front bumpers require you to remove the crash bar. not all of the kits do. i've been driving around with my E7 conversion for over a year now, and NO problems (perfect fitment and quality, so no complaints here). i guess it all depends on the situation though.

We have two versions, one that allows for the bar and another that requires a little modification.
