i thought about doing it for my silver ES, but i thought it would end up looking pretty much like stock, because it's soo close to (clear/chrome). It would look good on a red/yellow/blue lancer, but not really a silver

that would look pretty good. may make the headlight blend into the car and look smaller.

yeah, ive got my headlights (stock) taken apart - they're in my closet right now, cause i was gonna do projectors for them , but that was too much work - plus i could use the spare right about now. i am thinking of doing that, only problem is -u're gonna need something for the high heat right???

be sure they are DOT approved. I am not familiar with the headlight laws but I know certain colors are not legal, etc. This definatley would look good on a white or red car.

yeah, everyone uses the high heat black barbeque grill paint. that stuff withstands a lot of heat, but i dont think they have any other color.

what high heat?!? bulbs get hot, but they won't melt any spraypaint.... I used krylon fusion... no where near "high temp" paint in terms of chemical construction... but u can just use good old plastic spray paint.
