colored headlights
black headlights are awsome looking but has anyone thought about color matching the housing to there car. id photoshop a pic but new comp and no photoshop program yet. mabey someone can do it and post a pic. I think it would look pretty good. any opinions on this?!?
i thought about this awhile ago.....but my car is black.
corey.....i told chris(sincerest sins) to do his white when he wanted to paint them, but he didn't do it. i think they would look good!

i thought about doing it for my silver ES, but i thought it would end up looking pretty much like stock, because it's soo close to (clear/chrome). It would look good on a red/yellow/blue lancer, but not really a silver
Is this what you all are looking for... ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-05...93076921QQrdZ1 ).
yeah, ive got my headlights (stock) taken apart - they're in my closet right now, cause i was gonna do projectors for them , but that was too much work - plus i could use the spare right about now. i am thinking of doing that, only problem is -u're gonna need something for the high heat right???

be sure they are DOT approved. I am not familiar with the headlight laws but I know certain colors are not legal, etc. This definatley would look good on a white or red car.

what high heat?!? bulbs get hot, but they won't melt any spraypaint.... I used krylon fusion... no where near "high temp" paint in terms of chemical construction... but u can just use good old plastic spray paint.
