he said his mom will buy him the audi, but he himself cant afford a turbo kit. and i think an audi is a better investment than a turbo kit that will be harder to maintain
Buying a turbo car and building one is two different things im not saying dont get the audi those cars are awsome
but when i started piecing my own kit i didnt know much about the motor and turboing and stuff, but now two months later i feel i know alot more than any school could have taught me.
IN the end every morning do u want to start ur car and think i built this machine or think i bought a fast car?
sorry for the novel just my opinion

yes knowing that you built your engine feels better than knowing you bought it stock, but it evens it out knowing that the one you bought is made like that and the one you pieced together "might" have some problems, and that your engine wasn't made like that. so either way, be happy with what you end up with. your choice

Best bet would be to just sell the turbo on ebay, realistically, and no offense to you, if you don't have enough knowledge on turbos to know what you need, you might end up screwing the car up, especially if you're going custom, that's just asking for trouble. Personally I would keep the lancer, and put the money your mom gives you to help pay for a college/university education. Yes it sounds lame and boring, but would you rather be 25, driving an Audi and working at a dead end job or be 25, have a degree and be able to buy yourself a brand new car in a years time? Also, don't forget about insurance, the audi is going to cost far more than a lancer simply cause 1. its an audi and 2. it has more power. For a young male that might not be a smart investment, you could easily end up paying the price of a turbo kit simply in the increased rates.
Well its all a matter of priorities, he could get a nice car, deck it out, and all that jazz but what is he "paying" for this? Personally I'd rather spend the money on my future, if that means not getting an audi, I think its a fine trade off.

well. my parents will buy me anothe car. (more than likely my choice, and i'm looking at either an audi a4 (2001) or a (2006 mazda 3s/aka fully loaded) - and im yeah gonna sell it on ebay this week. Probably start the bid @ $200 - with maybe a $30 shipping or whatever shipping ACTUALLY IS, cause its really heavy. I'd honestly like $300 for it, (even) if not more, cause i want a new digital camera. Its a sick 5MP Kodak camera.
