ok, let the college thing go. first you all went on how he needs to put the money toward college, and now he says hes already there, your pushing for him to go for more than 4 years, ok when will this stop? Hes in college he does have his priorities straight. Why not pick up a car for a gift on going for at least 4 years? after that its still his choice.

Have you thought about an SRT-4? Its cheaper, easier to fix and a lot faster than any of the cars mentioned here. Plus its far more of a students car than an audi, you're guaranteed to attract cougars in an audi.

no offense man, but i hate when people are like "yeah its nice but I'd never own an american car" or even "I'd never own a foreign (or Japanese) car." I mean some american cars are a hell of a lot better than foreign or foreign better than american. You really should consider the actual car or even entire company, not just if its american or not. But yeah dodge also has had some reliability issues so i'm with you there.

yeah, i plan on finding someplace close by. and budget..hmm? hasn't been said. only thing that is said, is that they will buy the car for me, and i will pay the notes on it. so i guess it's up to ME and how much I can afford. ya know? i'd really like that audi, but realisticly, [did i spell that right]. the mazda 3 seems more practical, and in my range. i know a lot of ppl who have them, and they're really cool. so yeah they're not 200 HP or nothing, but they are sweet cars. EVEN for a MAZDA.
i dont care too much for the 3. you should look into buying an 03-04 mustang cobra. there are many well under 30g (most around 20-25). i really like them, and they are fast as hell. ford rates them at 390 bhp stock, but many will dyno over 400 to the wheels STOCK. (Just a suggestion)
