I'm sorry man, not to be a d!ck, but you need to grow up, life is not only abouting "getting ***" and looking cool, especially at 21. I'm not even 20, and I'm in my 3rd year of university going for a degree in genetics. I also drive a 2003 lancer ES. Do I want something faster? Hell yeah, but right now I want a degree and a career. I'm sad to say it but at 21 women do not care about what you drive (at least not women with a vagina smaller than a bucket) they care about who you are. In high school girls want the guy with the big house, rich parents and nice car, for the rest of life women want the guy who actually has a future.

on another note i believe you all are using oppurtunity cost wrong, as it has nothing to do with the future, it has to do with the present. i.e. if i go to the baseball game, it cost me 40$ + 20 (food, drinks, and gas), and im not working for 4 hours (10$per hour so 40$) so the game actually cost you 100$ that is if i remember my eco class correctly. By the way im a finance major

 

wow you guys are really pushing this college thing. If he wants a car instead of college, its his choice. The point has been made that college is much more beneficial in the long run. i dont care if he goes to college or not(like you said its his choice)... just that if he is upgrading for speed, for the price he is gonna drop on the a4 he could get much much better. But if he is upgrading for say the luxury side go for it, i mean hes not paying for it right.

 

yeah hes not paying for it and i think he said his mom "offered" to buy it for him. And yes you upgrade in speed with the A4 a little bit, and you get a lot more luxury and its an audi. Doesnt really matter, i just like audis

 

It all depends on how you divide up time, we went over all this junk in econ as well, had to watch a stupid movie on opportunity costs and such forth.

 

get the a4 or s4, keep the lancer, then sell the audi, get a turbo and b'kit, get laid, and put the rest in the bank for school

yeah thats why i was asking cause my last manager did modeling and made serious cash. he also did some stripper work...make a lot of money off that as well.
