my Lancer is stock to the bone and I wanted to known if I could tint it Cause i saw some lancer on this web site that the windows looked tinted where could i get some tint like that.

 

you can get any cars windows tinted...just be wary of the quality at some places, cheap is not always good, unless you enjoy the bubbled purple tint jobs you see on some cars.

 

yeah i agree...you dont wanna skimp on tint...ask around see what the best tint shop is...most tint shops will carry anything you would want...see a car w/ nice tint...ask em where they got it...

i have 3m titanium tint, its black reflective, not mirrored and it cost me 165.00 plus if there's any problems with it i can go back to the person who did and and they'll fix it for free

 

Purple tint is from using windex on your tint...if you didnt already know that.

 

I second the Lumar had mine for about a year, no peeling, scratchs, no purple because they use metal not dye to tint their film, and no tickets even though it is illegal it looks lighter from the outside than it really is. I think the exact stuff is Lumar Platinum Plus

 

you can tint any car. id reccomend going to a shop and having it done, on a count of you sound like you dont know much about it. i got mine pro done 5% all around for $100!! and its best quality in town.

 

well ya kinda but most of your purple haze comes from a low quality tint

 

some of the purple is done from cheap tint after some exposure to sun as well... lots of people in oklahoma seem to buy autozone (or similar store) tint and try to do it themselves. it turns purple fast.

I got mine done in oklahoma... there is all of 1 place within 80ish miles that does Car tint (more that do truck tint lazy asses) and it cost about 180ish after it was all done. the back bubbled almost the next day... bu tthe guy was nice enought to replace it a week later (had some cold rain not long after I got the tint which I think caused the bubble)

make sure you find a week (lots of leeway) that is over 65-70 degrees!
