Angry Jiffy Lube SCRATCHED my car!

Those idiots scratched it, and I'm mad still mad as hell. It happened a while ago, but I didn't notice it until like 3 days later because it was on the rear passenger side.

Anyway, I had the dealer quote me a price to get it fixed (its about 5 inches long, goes over the angle above the rear tail-light, and has a slight indent): They said $150 because they had to repaint and "blend the entire quarter-panel". Does this sound about right to anyone? I just don't want to get screwed twice.

Did you bring it up with Jiffy Lube? Of course they didn't do such a thing though.

It's time to scratch one of their front windows. With a brick. Thrown.

Yeah, I have many an evil thought driving by their on my way to work. Why are people so inconsiderate!? Its not even like whoever did it would have paid for it, they have insurance!

So the blending thing... is that true too?

I wouldn't think so unless the scratch takes up that much space. They should be able to repair just the immediate area around it and not have to do the whole panel.

just enough to give it a slight rust brown at the top part. pretty deep, but not deep enough to rust most of the line...
