Headlight bulb replacement.

Anyone know where to get some decent light bulb replacements 9007? I have been searching for a set for a while but all of them are either >$20 or seem illegal (yellow lights).

I was looking for something brighter than OEM, possibly white or a hint of blue.
What I should have mentioned when saying illegal is that I don't want them to look rice or get me pulled over. I don't care if they are DOT approved or not.

you want any bulb thats 4500K (or around there) Thats a very white/blue that looks close enough to stock to not be a problem but will give you good light. You can find them on ebay or in local parts stores.

i got the slyania cool blues. They are ok, not much blue at all, maybe not even a hint but they look just as good as the more expensive silver stars. I had those before.

i also have cool blues, i also got a set for my girlfriend's sable (also takes 9007s, heh). in my subaru i had silverstars and those were awesome. all the cops seemed to ignore that car though, it had ultra bright lights, a loud exhaust... and i never got hassled about anything.

I have always praised Sylvania Silverstars. The total product itself and even the customer service is great too. Got a "free" pair of Silverstars just for having a pre-mature filament break on me...

hey, maybe mine are different, but I really don't like my silverstars. They are nowhere near as bright or true white/blue as most others out there (even the cheap ones that I once had did NOT melt my harness and looked way better). Unless you are using the brights on the highway, they are not that great. I definitely wish I would have bought another brand for that price.

I've got Nokya Stage IIs and they're plenty blue. No trouble from the police whatsoever.

I would have to agree with you. I had a set of silverstars when I still had the USDM headlights. I had them for a night and returned them the next morning. I was not impressed with them at all. To me the light ouput was not as good as the stock bulbs.
