to remove the mesh things just look under the car then pop out the plugs that hold the bottem airdams up(all you need is a reg screwdriver)then once those are off...just reach under and unscrew them.you may need to remove the window cleaner tank to get the passanger side(i had to)search for my thread about that very subject.i do have the air ducts(not just hoses)comeing from both sides...whole-lota-air forced to my filter now

I did the same exact thing last weekend, routed 3" insulated ducting up to my RRM SRI. There's a picture of it in the Lancer general forum titled "Picture of my custom combo CAI/SRI". Good job though, glad to see I'm not the only one with different idea's around here.
