Love the driveway..... First glance I thought you had gotten in an accident, then I noticed that you were off roading just to get onto the road.... Good job so far on the build.... can't wait to see more.

Well, more parts will soon be arriving for the lancer, so I figure I'll clue up the Tracker talk with a little clip from Christmas time. It's nothing major, just having a bit of fun around my house in my home-town, but the little tracker gets to stretch her legs a bit.

The video was taken on my bro's digital camera.. I don't have access to that. My g/f's camera only has a 16mb memory card on it, but I might be able to get a quick video next time I get up to the garage. As it stands now, apparently we racked up a $200 power bill last month by being up there so much, and the guy who is mainly responsible for bill payment wasn't pleased. So, it may be a little while before we get back up, but a video of the lancer will be taken ASAP

Alrighty... finally have internet access again, so it's time for another update!!

February 1st was a busy time.. I changed address and so receiving packages was a little touch and go for a bit. On the 1st, my Evo 8 spoiler arrived via courrier. The box sat in my computer room until our new apartment was finaly settled away, then myself and Frank took the time to test-fit the pieces to have a look at it. Here are a few pics from that:

I'll be getting the spoiler painted and installed soon hopefully. Stay tuned!

Is that spot on the wing, or is it the camera lense giving off that effect?

It's a flare off the lens...

Now.. to continue with the update, following the test-fit of the wing, we finally made it back to the garage again. During this visit, I decided to disable the Day-time Running Lights (on Canadian releases) which I've always found to be a pain in the butt. I enjoy the idea of sitting in my car when it's on and being able to decide myself if the headlights are on or not. Under the driver-side headlight, you can find the module for the DRL's which only needs to be unplugged to have the desired effect. I unplugged it and taped up the ends to protect the connections... even though I highly doubt I'll need to use them again:

Following that, I reinstalled my front motor mount which I had previously filled. Install was opposite of the removal which can be seen in an earlier section of this thread.

Finally, before we left the garage, we took a short video of the Lancer, but as of this moment Google Video is still reviewing it, so it's not accessable. I'll get the link up ASAP.

you can get a variation which has cf "wrapped" pieces... basically the midsection and side plates have a cf sticker embedded in it to give it a cf look.. otherwise, there is the version that I have.

As well, as a final update for today... These came on the courrier today as well.. to be installed very soon... most likely tomorrow!

So, here's a pic of my agenda for tonight... along with the for-mentioned rotors:

In case there's some of you who do not recognize these items, they are:
-RRM X-Bar Front Strut Mount Bar
-RRM Rear Strut Mount Bar
-RRM Lower Tie Bar
-Progress Rear Sway Bar with Upgraded Perches

All in all, it should be a fun night. I'll update with install pics when done!
