I would consider it rice if my car was not fast enough to support the styling effect that it would have. I hate "all show, no go" cars. Put it into an equation if you want. For every three thousand dollars you spend on performance parts, you are authorized to spend one thousand dollars on appearance parts. Of course, we all know that cold air intake and fart cannons are not performance parts, so I am talking about true performance mods. Rest assured, if I do put neons on my car, it will only after it is pushing some pretty nice quarter mile numbers. You won't see me in a bone stock Evo with some neon lights. Rice is what you make of it. If you are putting parts on your car to make it LOOK fast, it is rice. Most people say that high mount spoilers are rice, but look at the GT cars out there. "Oh, that's different......those cars need that wing"......wait, you said the wing was rice, didn't ya? NOw, it is the car which is rice and not the part, so it makes more sense. We all know neon lights will never give a car any horsepower gain, but who ever said that neon lights make a car look faster in the first place? Neon lights are like white gauges or chrome valve stems. Do you need them? Nope, but I bet you like them for your own reasons.

Nah, definitely don't think it'd fit on an ES. or a lot of cars, for that matter. A GMC Jimmy, however..........now that's entirely different

fyi, in most states red and blue are ILLEGAL because those are the colors police use. anything else is fair game, or so i've heard.

yea its ok.. like i said, this is only going to be for show use only so i dont really gotta worry about the color. and even if i do turn it on while driving, the cops here could really care less. but thanks for your input.

haha sorry, but green is not my thing. coz i want to decide on either blue or red because those are two color options i might be choosing to paint my car later on. the only downside to red is that it could appear to be red, pink, or orange sometimes, depending on the other light sources around you. however, the blue always comes out as blue. if you're in a bright area, it comes out light blue.. in a pitch black area, it comes out a really BRIGHT blue.. hehe. but im just trying to make a point.

for everyones information all underbody neons are illeagal if they are on while you on driving on city streets but for show you can use any color in the rainbow (personally i would go for a unique color like purple or orange depending on what you color scheme is) aight

Phil, I'd be careful. These Jersey City cops are tight as hell. They'll catch you when they got no doughnuts on reserve.

in all states you are not aloud to have any lights on your car other than red or yellow\amber in the back, yellow\amber or white on the side(side marker), and yellow\amber or white in the front. any other color anywhere...is illegal
