wisconsin does not have a state law against them. aks a good trooper to look it up. they do frown on blue cuz its a "reserved" color. individual cities MAY have a stutute on them, but look into that too. i have yellow under my ,lancer, never get pulled over. m truck had purple under it and aqua in the wheel wells. pulled over all the time. but never a ticket.

 

if you want them, then get them. dont let other peeps opinions sway your prefrences.

 

Neon lights... hmm i just recommend to put in inside of ur car just like around the clutch&break&gas... i did it on my lancer, feels damn good... if u put undercar neon, its gonna be a prob if winter comes, and the COPS...

 

Neons are good if you have a show car(body kit, rims, etc.) If I just saw an ordinary car with them I wouldn't like them too much. It happens to add a nice touch to certain cars, especially those kitted and all done up. That's just my 2 cents.

I used to think underbody neon lights were really crappy looking but after a friend got some blue neons for his silver Tiburon I've changed my mind. Looks real nice. So I'd say go for it. Seriously do check out 2F2F if you wanna see how the lights will look kinda-sorta.

 

my blue lancer has blue Streetglow gold series.

my red eclipse has red streetglow gold series.

I like them.

 

all these people saying "rice" think of neons and how well they are installed by all of those civic kids that have tape holding up part of their body kits and spray paint on the lights to create an altezza effect. neons can be ricey, but they can also look pretty damn sweet if they are installed properly and aren't too dim. on an OZ, they would look tite as long as the car was lowered and had wheels. neons are just like any other show mod, it looks good if its done right.
