In my opinion, nobody is AUTHORIZED to install those unless your car is FAST and I'm NOT talking about having just Nitrous. You gotta have something to back up the "show".

 

If you're worried about legality, www.neweclipse.org has a list of general laws regarding colors of lights.

For more specific laws, run a google search or something.

Personally, I think neons wouldn't look that good on a Lancer, but maybe on some other cars out there. Also depends on your car's color, and what kinds of neons you're putting on. Personally I think Cobra Eyes, those windhield washer lights, are the spawn of the devil.

 

I think as long as you cant see tubes and your color combo is good then it looks good and if its what you want go for it

 

Just dont put it on cars like the Evolution etc.

 

I agree with 3.14. Neons would look offensive on an EVO 8. Maybe something simple like a blue accent tube on the inside, but I think the undercar kit on an EVO is bad.

 

I am curious if anyone knows how to do so. Any good spots where i would install it? If so can you like post a picture of everything that we have under OZ Lancer and how i would wire everything.

Also how do you guys think would red under car neon kit would look on black car. I already have it though. Let me know guys please! I take any help!

 

Black and red is good combination, they are fairly easy to install.. well actually really easy, I wouldn't know for my car (never) but I hepled my friend for his one day!

 

How long did it take u? Can someone get a view of under carriage of 2003 Lancer OZ Rally Edition.... I would like to know where to put them and where to get wires through.

 

I don't know much about where to put them on a Lancer, but just find a place close to the edge of your car that can be a spot to put the light to, you don't want to close that the body of the car will block the light, so atleast a 1/2 inch away from the body, so you can get the full glow.

Maybe this could help, its of other cars where they have them, but I don't think I will be able to find an underbody picture of a Lancer with neons, try searching yourself, it might come in handy.
