I just put some red angel eyes on my integra. They bright as hell. I dont plan on putting neon lights. I dont really want too much lights

 

i have underbody neons only because my car is a show car. its just something you need when you have a show car. it gets you more points from the judges.

 

I think on the right car they can look incredible. The problem is kids go around putting them on the 94 Toyota tercels, you know, the ones with the chrome wheel cuvers. And they cheap out and buy the $100 kit which barely lights up the ground. If you'r going to do it, do it right, the lancer I think has great potential when it comes to neon, especially if you do it right. I think a body kit would be needed for the ES/LS to look right, and the oz would definatly have to be lowered. Also, if you are getting the undercar kit, think about the front grill of your car too. I have 2 small tubes in my front grill giving it a nice glow at night. I like it alot and regret nothing

Everyone has their own sense of style. Just like the way we dress, you have your button down shirt type of guys, the skater type, the gangsta type, gothic type etc. Neons on the car is the same thing, it's an expression of ourselves...

Ya know, I was actually thinking about some lighting for my Evo. Before you start, just think this over. Gauges on the interior are all red, brake calipers are red, I even have the red Ralli Art mudflaps (I can't stand rock chips and I think the mudflaps look pretty rare on the US Evo's). Anyway, I was thinking about some red lights under the car, I was debating between the neon and the LED style. I like the LED's because they don't get hot, but I wouldn't want them to dance like a friggin' Christmas tree. However, the the neon lights would probably be a more uniformed pattern of light, instead of a whole bunch of little lights all over the place. My main reason for wanting neon over LED would be to mount a tube behind the FMIC so that it glowed through it a little bit. The downside to neon lights would be that I would be paranoid that the transformers for them would end up overheating sooner or later. I also don't want to voilate any laws, and from my experience, it doesn't have to do totally with the DOT color code for car lighting (white in front, red in rear, etc.), but it also has to do with the Emergency Response Vehicles in your area. If your city cops use red and blue lights in their cars, you can forget about running those colors on your car for neons or strobes or whatever. This also applies for Ambulances and Fire Trucks and State Police and ......well.....you get the point. Since amber is pretty much reserved for "caution" throughout the US (like turn signals, hazard lights, construction zones, etc.) most of the places where neon lights are allowed will let you run that color.

Anyway, I seriously doubt that I put them on there. I have never liked them for my own car in the past, but maybe I will add a little show to it once I have it running mid to low 12 second passes. I think performance should always take more precedence than style or looks, but that is just me. I don't like a streetable car that "looks" fast, I like one that is fast. Oh, and ridiculous negative camber is poo unless you are on autocrossing. Got coilovers? Good. Got an alignment done since you last adjusted them?..... ........ .. ... Still waiting for a response.

yah neons are kool, u might as well cover ur windshield with rice and APC stickers, add a few GTR and Type R badges to even it all out and ur neons will match... eh... on second tho... uh.... no... juss don't... end urself.
