I think every lancer owner goes through that "ricer" stage. I can still remember when I wanted gigantic rims and pretty much all the ricer body mods I could think off (body kit, springs, neon, etc).

Sorry in advance for pulling this out of the grave but!

Your debage looks great. I hadn't even really thought about it until I saw this. I was wondering how to properly get it off, I owned a honda accord before and debadged it but there was still a lot of residue left, even with goo-gone. I'm starting to think it was actually the paint that got peeled off but I will never know.

Anyway, nice job. The car looks great

Dont even honestly think it matters too much reviving threads anymore. Not a ton of traffic.

Gotta get a can of 3M adhesive remover. Works 10x better than goo-gone. And of course after using it make sure to wash/wax the area you treated. When I debadged my trunk I didnt do it so good since I was learning tricks. I had quite a lot of hairline scratches. My orbital and buffing compound took those out.

You can always do what I did and shave the lock cylinder too. Never once have i had an issue. Can pop it from the driver seat still.

Edit: Didn't even think to look at the created date. This guy is probably long gone, but oh well.
