the hood does use the stock latch. if u look where ur stock latch is u'll realize it will work.

who thinks evoVII fenders should be made to go along with that kit, that would be bad *** and you know it.

 

i agree fenders would be phat but how would you make the rear ones? fronts would just bolt on but the rear wouldnt look right with a flair bolted on unless it was molded which would cause you to repaint the entire car.

 

but its worth it

 

well repainting the car is not cheap!

 

i'm getting mine custom painted for only $900.. but then again i'm good friends with the kid whos father own the body shop and i'm only paying for the suppliues and whatnot

it might intrest you to know that if you changed the front fenders you would have to also replace the headliamp assys. which are close to $8-900 from an importer or like $1200 from mitsubishi. in addition, im not sure the front bumper would fit with the jdm headlamp assys. if you wanted a completely custom look you could just mold everything. if you changed the rear fenders you would also need new taillight assys. or like lanceroz03 pointed out, you could just mold flares onto your existing bumper. but that would requier a new paint for the whole car but you prolly want to spray it after a kit anyway due to fade from the sun. you might not be able to see it on your car, but putting something freshly painted next to it shows a sharp contrast between the two painted surfaces.

 

that kit is suppose to be 'new' tightlancer has had that kit on his car for over a year..hmm...

 

So far I've seen two versions of this body kit one from a place i know i can get it from and the other well....... just seen it on the car already on a pic but don't know who makes it this one kit that everyone keeps talking about in all the threads. i do i find where to get it from somebody send some info... also is this evo vii kit going to have a good front lip cuz thats one thing i saw the other one didn't have. the awesome looking one was the one in this forum https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...threadid=31122
