[QUOTE=Lily03;6238781]how would you destroy your car? the worst your gunna do is lose some tire thred. because your an auto you won't have to worry about being rough on your clutch, so you get lucky there. than the only other thing is you might get is a scuff or two from where the cone hits your car (if and you hit cones), and even then the cones don't always leave marks and they marks do buff/ rub out!

so ya what exactly do you think your gunna do to destory it?

haha ive just heard stories about people at the tracks an comin home with massive dents or they totalled there car haha so thats y. i think before then i should have the RRM swat an strut bar

Damn man that's a lot. You must bring yourself a lot of attention.
I hate cops around here. They fallow you and get on your ***. I even go over the speed limit and rev my engine a little when they do that. Damn cops!

Yea I have too. But I want to get the H-Brace and struts before that so I can push it a little harder on the turns.

Yea $450 is still a little bit too much but it should be around $250 - $400 to get it done around here.

But you have a different car so it might be that much.

well idk who you've talked to BUT no one in my scca group has ever had serious damage caused to there car by autoX. now a few of the scca group did do an autobun course and messed up there cars but obviously there is a huge difference!

if people are messing **** up than either there talking about something other than autoX and or there region does it different.

like seriously i've never even heard of anyone in the nebraska region mess **** up like that. i like to know who you've talked too because never have i heard that crap before!

you'll be fine. and if all else just go slow the entire time and you'll be fine. although for me thats kinda pointless to go slow because one can not truly know how there car will handle without pushing the limit, but thats just me

bob technically (i'm sure you know this) but to drive your car with a bad timing belt and water pump is in a sense just asking for more crap to go wrong. i mean the belt can technically be considered a "minor" fix but to push that water up... aww personally i wouldn't. if you don't have to drive it i wouldn't, because i know if i had another car thats what i'd do. but thats me.

btw what 3000 forum you on? jw because i'm apart of one too.

don't sweat it, it'll be all good. and i'm sure if somethin minor happens there will be enough tools to get it fixed. not saying i want anything too but just saying we got your back.

if they do fun runs can i run the lancer?

fun runs are runs you pay to do after the event is done. my region does it. great chance to swap cars with ppl.

IIRC, my total come to about $700 when I got my timing belt/all other belts, tensioners, water pump changed and radiator flushed... That was at the dealer though
