no different than replacing them with carbon fiber ones from RRM.
you are fine aslong as you still have side markers (which you do) and or the side driving lights (which should be orange or you can get away with white sometimes).

in some states it is illegal to not have an amber reflector or tape at bumper height. Replacing it with clear or carbon fiber (or removing it completely) ends up being illegal. Check your state laws, or simply ask your local police station.
i can see your worry, but honestly i don't see you gettin pulled over for this or causing a problem for you unless you get into an accident with a person familar with the law and states you didnt have it, or if you get oulled over and the cops are trying to hit you with everything in the book. i have had the CF ones for almost a year now, been in an accident, and pulled over a couple of times in NY and no problems. hope this helped.....gl and byt he way they look great!!!

about reflectors, it has "DOT" embossed on the stock ones, but not on the clear ones.. meaning that they will not pass inspection if the inspection guys are dicks.. but i doubt they would look THAT close..
Someone posted the law for California where reflectors are not a rewuired item on a vehicle. As a matter of fact, some cars do not come with them at all, so he and a cop friend don't see why it would be illegal to use alternative parts.
i have the ones you posted a link for..and cops is how our lil city makes money. and no problems yet.
search for'clear reflectors group buy' you may be able to still get some for cheaper than procarparts.

I've got clear reflectors and I haven't had any problems nor am I worried about it. I remember reading somewhere that as long as you replace the reflector with another sort of reflective material, that's what matters most. Not so much the color of it.
so is shiny carbon fiber reflective?
And I do believe that blue or red is not allowed. I had a friend get a ticket for a red bug guard on his Bronco. Apparently, nothing that reflects or filters light can be "emergency" colors, which are red and blue (cops lights, ambulance, fire truck, etc.)
