Lowered 02-07 Lancers. Post your pics!
One of the reasons why i changed my mind with the swift spring idea is because just that, that thats really stiff suspension and that my wheels are only cast and not forged aluminum or anything real strong or expensive. Honestly, i thought about the swift springs, because i loved the "3 wheelin it" pictures and videos. I think theyre so sick and its awesome. Thats honestly what made me want to get the springs with a stiff spring rate. And also, simply to go lower. The roads arent that great around here either so it stopped me from wanting to do that and just cause the whole stiff thing
Honestly, there really is no "correct" way of slamming a car. Slamming a car no matter what, will give you a hell of alot stiffer suspension and is not exactly suspension safe. Slamming a car is just simply not good for your car. If you want good suspension, the best combination is an aftermarket strut capable of holding certain drops and lowering springs. Which isnt low enough for me. I am trying to do it the safest way without destroying my suspension completely. which is why i never cut my springs cause i thought about it. My suspension right now is stiff but not crazy stiff. Im still in the "safe" zone. Plus, if i changed my dampening towards soft more, itd feel better and like how yours feels. We pretty much have the same set up right now lol except i have 2 lower perches out on each side in the rear and have my dampening set differently cause i like feeling the road more. I drive slow and swerve around everything for this very reason. Not to mention, we have to watch our oil pans cause they sit so low which is why i am thinking about skid plates as well or even getting help from a friend with raising my engine with motor mount spacers and what not for when i go lower. I am being very cautious with this. And in the future when i get a better job, i will get a daily. I am aware that slamming a car puts more stress on your wheels and suspension and wheel components. This is why i was asking if youre maxed out so i can decide on getting new coilovers for a lower drop so i dont have to get my rear ones fabricated but nothings really gonna drop it to what i want probably. I honestly plan on taking my front perches out as well when i get my rear coilovers fabbed but im gonna watch everything when i do this as well as, change my dampening more soft so its not so shock hurting

Either way I think the bare minimum you would need is a 25 gallon air compressor, which the tank is usually ~1.5 ft. diameter and about 2.5 ft. tall.
If yours is close to that then you should be good but I imagine your tank being like 8" diameter and maybe 20 inches long.
In that second paragraph you more or less just described a coilover (in essence, a shorter shock fully capable of handling the shorter spring whilst having full shock travel; Just happen to also be able to change the dampening rates). Coilovers, in fact, are considered a correct way to lower a vehicle. I haven't tested it (although I might now just to try it out.) but switching it to the softest setting I'm sure is crazy soft. I can and will run that setting as low as I am now. Just because I'm low doesn't mean I'm forced to be stiff.
have you guys heard of mullerized ? a lot of people from socalevo recommends them. they could modify your shocks/coilovers depending on your application. ive also heard they also make springs.
