Ok here's the deal. I just had my driver's side fender blinker stolen off my car today while i was at work (low-lifes!!!). Anyways, when I had my stock front bumper on the car, I had the RRM carbon fiber reflectors on it. So I still have them, but obviously not on the Ken front end.

This is what I was thinking......... I am goin to make a pattern that is the same shape as the hole where the blinker use to reside on the fender. Than i will trace the pattern onto the back of the cf reflectors. I will then use a cutting wheel to slowly cut the reflector into the shape f the old blinker. From there I will use a pattern and trace that onto the center of the new oval shaped carbn fiber blinker cover. Next I will cut out the and clean up all of the edges.

Now onto the electrical. When they stole the blinker, hey cut the wiring so I now have 2 exposed wires (power and ground). I will buy a small LED bar and wire that to the existing wiring (or whats left of it). With that done the new LED should act exactly like the previous blinkers did. I will fix that to the inner fender well facing towards the hole.

Then I will take the carbon fiber blinker cover and adhere it to the fender over the hole and wallaaa......... and new custom made carbon fiber blinker cover that will, when the blinnkers are on, show a blinking glowing .

Lemme know what you think! I will b doing this within a few days. I will try to post pics as soon as I can, but with no digicam, its kinda hard to rely on other people to shoot pics for me.

dont try anything permanent, chances are you could **** it up and end up with a bigger mess on ur hands.

 

I'm gonna do it and its gonna be perfect. Just like I am the only lancer with agle eye-headlight center blinkers!!!

yea i think it could look phat if done right. But others might think it would look rice if it didnt look good

 

id think it would look good if it wasnt on a tg lancer.

 

Personally I think it would look pretty cool if you just left the whole thing out of it and just kept it a solid piece of cf.

lol... but seriously.. its a nice idea and all and i'm gonna give you props for putting a lot of thought into doing something fairly original but the prob is this... when u start putting putting logos all over the car u begin to cross the fine line that takes u from being a car enthusiast to being a ricer... if thats the look you're going for then more power to u.. but if not.. keep in mind that putting logos all over ur car makes u no different from the ricer loser with the civic that has Honda logos all over it...
