Ride Height

Ok, so I had this problem last week with my car. The Rear drivers end was riding about 2 inches low so jacked the car up and when i lowered it, it settled better, but it still looked crooked. So I took my car to m y local mitsu dealer this morning. They looked at the car and said that they didnt see anything wrong. The mechanic re-sat the spring for me and the car was still 1/4 inch lower on that corner than the rest of the car. Has anyone had a similair problem? I was told that I should just continue to drive it and come back if anything happens. This doesnt sounds like a very good solution to me. What is the ride height of the lancer with stock suspension supposed to be?

how about the shock it might be alittle worn, if so then mitsu would probably replace it

I've never had this problem so I'm just trying to think of what would cause it, let us know what happens

i love how they tell you to juss drive it around, and if anything happens, THEN come back to them! what ***'! so do you have aftermarket springs on there now? have you ever tampered with the springs, etc?

Nope, no after market springs. The only tampering with the suspension i have done was to put on the rrm strut bar. I wasnt too pleased with the drive it around till something happens soluton either, but they said they could really do much since nothing was broken.

lol that's great, instead of solving it cheap and easy beforehand, let's solve the problem AFTER something breaks!

Sounds like a typical dealership. I don't think that I would put any aftermarket springs on it yet, they might try to say that they void the warranty if anything were to happen.
