Question squeak problem

hi
i have a 2003 OZ rally. the problem is everytime i go over a bump or in a hole or nething like that, i hear a squeak coming from the back. it sounds as if its coming for both wheel wells, or sumwhere around there. the tires arent rubbing so its nothin like that, i just dont kno where the squeak is from. it doesnt sound reallllly bad, but its just there. any ideas?

Danny

Probably the struts or related bushings in the control arm/sway bar...

Depending upon the weather it could also just be a normal winter squeak as well - my car went from squeaking during the winter to silent once things warmed up a bit. Check around back there for anything that seems out of the ordinary though.

It's the bushings. Try spraying them with WD-40. If you're still under warranty, talk to the dealer. You can get them all replaced, but if you're not under warranty, you're paying for it.

Basically, the rubber gets old and hard. It stops cushioning and starts squeeking.
