Does anyone else have steering problems?
I bought a 2002 Lancer OZ with only 6,500 miles on it. After about two weeks, I took it in to be serviced because it always goes left (as if it's improperly aligned). They worked and nothing changed. This happened two more times before I called the head company in California who then called the head of service and told him to be really helpful to me (basically). A few more trips in, nothing has really changed. Does anyone else have this problem with their Lancer?
Sounds like someone got rid of their 6500 mile Lancer because they had an accident with it and knew it was not gonna be right after it was fixed.
I'd run the VIN on a vehicle history report service and see if anything pops up.

I bought it from the dealer and I did do a Carfax search. No accidents came up. It was listed as a fleet vehicle, but I didn't think that would cause any serious problems. Tire pressure is fine and the dealership has been unable to find anything bent. They even replaced some parts, to no avail.
Sorry for misplacing. I wasn't sure if it was a suspension problem or not.

I sometimes wonder about fleet vehicles and former rental vehicles, because people tend to treat stuff worse when they don't own it themselves. Like Hobie said, maybe something is bent. My car only tends to turn to one direction when the street is slanted that way.

When you're driving on the highway does it also feel kind of like it's windy without there being any wind? It could be one of the struts has lost it's gas charge making it softer than the rest. This could happen for a variety of reasons. Check all four corners to see whether they are all the same stiffness.

Nope, doesn't feel windy. And the tires were rotated. I'll look into the strut issue, though. Basically, the car just tends to tug left. And if you let go, you're usually in the next lane PDQ. My dealer's service department is stumped, as am I.
