SPC camber bolts install walkthrough.
You will need:
- Breaker bar with 19 mm socket (stock bolts)
- Ratchet with 15 mm deep socket (camber bolt)
- 18 (camber bolt) and 19 mm (stock bolt) wrenches.
- Jack stands
- 2 Camber bolts
- Torque wrench
So first of all, you have take the stock bolt off with the breaker bar and 19 mm socket.
And then replace the stock bolt with one of the camber bolts.
Here is where the stock bolt was and that is where the camber bolt will go:
You also have to loosen the lower bolt, but don't take it off.
The next part is the only hard part, you have too align the top of the triangle (That is on the top of the camber bolt) with the large tab of the washer, like so:
Then depending if you want Positive or negative camber you turn the tab and the top of the triangle, towards the engine for negative camber and towards the outside of the car for positive camber. So for negative camber the it should look like this:
So when you're done adjusting the camber, Tighten and torque both bolts, do the same thing for the other side, then DONE.
(FYI: I measured the camber using a ruler and a angle meter app on my IPhone (very cheap method) and I got about -1.70 ish negative camber)
