03 ES Brakes

Looking @ doing my rear brakes on my 03 ES

the problem I am running into is the size, I see a couple sizes listed, but they don't specify ES or other

And looking at hardware kits too.... it appears there is a regular drum hardware kit, and also a parking brake hardware kit?

I know nothing beats OEM, but I don't have that kind of coin to drop......

ok, so looked into this a little bit, it seems like there is just the one regular shoes and drums..... nothing special.....

the hardware kit does seem to have a bunch of parts, just need to getthe one with the most parts.....

I looked at the exploded views in the FSM

Correct. The "Parking Brake Drums" are for the cars with rear disc brakes (LS/OZ Rally) as they basically use a drum for the E-brake, with the rotor around it for standard disc brakes. This is super common in cars now days.

yeah, I figured..... Was just very difficult looking for replacement parts. It appears even though you put into the parts places search engine that a Lancer ES with rear drums, has parts showing up for an Evo with rear discs......

So my brake shoes on the rear look brand new so I just left them alone and tightened the adjuster's 10 clicks. Hope I didn't do too much. The e brake level feels better, but I still think it goes too high to hold the car
