the pressure plate and clutch come as a package in most cases. ACT, RPW, ZOOM, WORKS, Clutchmasters and i think Unorthodox just released one for the lancer. i've used ACT for the past 2 years and haven't had any real complaints yet. as for the slave cylinder, they only sell OEM slaves. get that from Mitsu or your local parts joint.

Local parts stores can't get the slave cylinder. I have an extra one from Mitsu (long story) I could sell you.

there you have it

you just need to figure out whether or not it's the pressure plate or the slave cylinder before you go buying parts. do you know any shop guys that could help you out since you don't have the experience with this yet? it would probably save you some time and $$$.

my clutch was acting up and i took it my friends garage, hes a big DSM fan, and we peeled back the seals and it was my slave. Im just going to go ahead (since my 02 just rolled over a 100k) and order the WORKS stage 1 clutch kit to save myself the trouble of later replacing the other to parts, disk and plate. $329 @ worksevo.com and they will also sell you the OEM throwout bearing. thats what im going with and its cheaper than the local mitsu dealer.
