flywheel install question (2003 Lancer OZ)

when installing the flywheel there are 3 steel stamped plates. I'm trying to figure out which ones go where. there are 2 that just have the 7 holes in them and are pretty flat, with bigger holes in the middle. and then one that is the same but the hole is smaller to line up the clutch tool. I *think* that one goes between the block and flywheel on the inside, then the other one goes on the outside of the flywheel, and the final one with the hole for the clutch alignment tool goes outside of that. BUT i'm not sure. anyone who has done it, or who knows, if you could give me a clue, that would be awesome. thanks.

i've done it but it was a long while back and my memory is shot. you didn't make note of this when you took them off?

EDIT: i dug up a shop diagram and scanned it. that should answer your question.

where did you get the shop book at to scan that from? i've been looking for a manual for this car but have come up with nothing.

damn, a couple hundred, i think id be better off getting the chiltons book for a mirage?

also, when lining up my clutch and using the clutch alignment tool, there is a little bit of play, meaning the clutch palte isn't completely stationary when the alignment tool is in. the plate can move a little up and down and side to side, is this alright, and how should i have it for when i install it? i'm looking to get this done tomorrow.

If the transmission won't go back into the motor, then the clutch disk is misaligned (obviously).

Did they send the wrong alignment tool? That thing should fit snug so it lines up perfectly...
