I got an 02 lancer automatic. When driving the car and it change gear to 3rd it jumps... can somebody help me with this.
It started doing this today after a change of oil. And when i went to the store. on my way back it sudenly started doing that when changing to 3rd ..

 

what do you mean by jump? what does it do exactly? and what rpm is it at when it does it? do the rpms drop down at all when it happens?

 

it like jerks changing from second to third gear, nothing else hapens to the rpms ust that lil jump

 

How many miles on the car? Time for a fluid flush...?

 

has 69k miles, and i did a complete tune up 4 months ago.... but today i disconected the batery and it work fine and perfect after it..

 

so was it just shifting hard or what?

 

A normal tune-up doesn't include flushing the tranny... unless it was like the dealerships 75k mile check-up? Might wanna look into what exactly was done! Oh, maybe time to do belts too...
