PO715-odbc code problem

PO715-odbc code problem

i have been having probs with my trans, and took it to a mr transmission, and they gave me the code i have been throwing PO715. its for the speed input sensor. but my problem only happens intermittenly. im gonna have them clean the connectors. has any one replaced this sensor? any idea of cost on this?

yeah, i know. i searched it first too. that didn't get me anywhere, thats why i posted the new thread. to see if someone else has had this prob or this experience before.

its an auto trans. its on top of the transmission. the speed sensor is suppose to watch the engine speed to trans speed, and if there is some variation, ex: something up, it will put my car into limp mode. which is only 2nd and 3rd gear. but i dont know if its the sensor or my trans ecu.

the problem has been corrected it was the input speed sensor.
