Does anyone else have a problem getting there lancer into 1st or 2nd gear when cold. I never used to have this problem, do you have any pointers on fixing this? I also have a prblem of my car wanting to stall out when i engage the clutch in neural in the cold but find once warmed up.

 

It's normal, almost all cars have difficulty shifting when the transmission is cold.

 

Yep, my Civic is the same way! I had to park it outside while the other Civic was up on stands inside and every cold morning it had more difficulty with all gears than usual. Try different fluids maybe? I love Pennzoil Synchromesh in my 5 speeds!
