sometimes you can pick them (ecu) up for real cheap and pick your part, definitely hit up on a 50% off day

start hunting linkage, pedal, actual trans, shift housing, shift stick... might look into short shifter right off the bat so you don't waste money on a stock one when you know you are going to want one later.

Lancers aren't rare. why not just sell it, and buy a manual....

Completely agreed with that!....for all the time, frustration and money to do this it's not worth it. If you do it probably won't be as reliable and as clean as a real manual anyways.

It's possible, if I were you and this is the route you really want to take I would look for a cheap car on Craigslist so you can swap all the parts. I mean....that's what I did except I'm also doing an engine swap with the 4G69. I got the car for $1000. Tranny and engine has 65,000 miles on it. The Donor is a 2004 Ralliart.
