Annoying Creaking Sound..

I have a wicked annoying creaking sound coming from around my back right tire.. I think it's my stock spring or shock or something.. Has this happened to anyone else? I have it scheduled to be checked on Tuesday but am curious.. It sounds like whatever it is is about to break..

Crap. Does it sound like a soft rattle? I thought maybe I was just being paranoid, but a few days ago I thought I was hearing some strange sound coming from the back right hand side. To me, it almost sounds like somthing in the exhaust line, rather than the shocks or struts. PLEASE let me know what the mechanic says. Thanks.

Anybody have any idea what this could be? Would really appreciate the advice. Or feel free to start a flame war here, to keep the thread on the latest posts list.

do you hear it when you're getting out of the car? if you hear what i hear, i think it is the hand brake, because the noise wasn't there when i had the parking brake off..

I don't hear it when I'm getting out.. I hear it when I'm driving, especially over bumps.. and if you are out of the car and press down on the back end of the car, you hear it..

I know EXACTLY what that is. I had the same problem. Rear control arms.

hopefully you're still under warranty.

Gravy. So I wonder if they replace the faulty control arms with improved ones, or just a newer set of what you already had. Thank God I still have my warranty.

I get that noise in my front passenger wheel area. It always seems that it goes away after the car has warmed up.

Is it aftermarket? If it is you just need to bend it a bit.
