I wouldn't even try anymore. Don't f' anything up, and the sooner you send it back, the sooner you will have one that fits.

 

Alright bro, I just put mine on last Thrusday and kinda had the same problem. This is what I ended up having to do.

place 1 end of the strutbar onto the struts. Tighten the bolts to where they just catch the strut, DO NOT COMPLETELY TIGHTEN down.

do the same to the other side, you may need to pull on the strutbar to get it onto the strut. After you have done that, start to tighten the last to bolts but do not completely tighten. Once you did that, the strut bar should go on with out anymore problems.

i have the same problem too. i might just take it to the shop since i don't know much about tuning cars.

 

I went to a local shop and they used a machine to put it on. They put it on reversed and it looks pretty cool. they charged me 10 bucks.
