I have just boot mounted my battery to make way for my intercooler piping the other day and now my car does not want to idle and stalls.

I have had this problem before when I have disconnected the ECU but it has corrected itself after a few starts of the engine.

Does anyone know what the problem might be?????

 

I think that you did a bad reset of your ECU ....

My guess is to unplug your batery again, reconect it start your car and don't touch anything for about 15 to 20 min ... don't even touch the gas when you start the car. You have to let your ECU reprogram itself.

That's my guess.

 

Just try the ECU reset and get back to us... Boot = trunk BTW.

 

Thanks for your replies, I found the problem, there was a small hole in one of my silicone joiners on the throttle body which was making the Air from meter read incorrectly.

Is all good now,

Oh and in AUS we call the trunk a boot.
