Auxilary input for sound system...

hey guys whats up ?

just got my lancer GTS (with sun&sound) yesterday and so far i'm loving it!!! its really fun to drive!

just got one question for you guys... how does the aux input work?

because i connected my ipod today but i couldnt manage to make it work.. i tried all the keys and buttons on the rockford fosgate audio system and nothing worked...

got the same problem, until I read the manual, you need to hold the CD button for about 3 secs in order to pass to aux mode.

Does it reset everytime you turn the car off? I have an ipod hooked up to it and I need to hold the cd button for 3 seconds everytime I turn the car on

Yeah unfortunately that is the case.

Have a question for u guys with your ipods connected. Which connecting kit did you guys get? I got one of those $20 Isimple's from bestbuy about 3 weeks ago when I got my new GTS. It sounds good, but probably not the best it could sound.

I'm not sure which I bought but it sounds like ****. I figured aux plug n play would have had CD quality, nope. I've had better quality from the broadcasting plugins you tune your radio to.
