What are the ways of increasing traction?
other than getting new tires,
suspension?
2wd - 4wd conversion possible?

mmm... I think LSD could be an option because most of the power is transferred to the right wheel

Of the options, tires are the best bet. An AWD conversion is fine and dandy but it's expensive and will make the car slower than stock (AWD systems are heavy). A quality suspension system can help traction but only if you have tires that can handle it. As said an LSD is an option too. Honestly, tires are the biggest contributor to traction. Think of tires like shoes, if you want better traction in winter, you wear winter boots not crawl on all fours wearing flip flops.

just learn to drive and dont rev the engine up so high when you launch. I can start from a dead stop in first gear w/o giving any gas and not stall out, then floor it and get perfect traction. It really isnt rocket science...

if you have a 5 speed you cant do that. you let out on your clutch and the car will stall--- "its not rocket science"

I can do that too, it's how a lot of places teach you how to drive.

Don't start this stuff, the issue is driving not what people call each other.

Then you need to take it in and get that checked out.

There is no reason why a car this heavy should be able to break traction that easily with what power is available. If you had a supercharger installed, I could possibly see that but definitely not in stock form. The car is just not that strong. I've been trying - uphill, downhill, wet, dry, warm, cold. I have yet to get the car to break traction when in gear. Take it to your dealership and have them check out your drivetrain. There is a problem with your car, and it needs to be addressed.
