If the fuse pops instantly then you have a short to ground somewhere. Your mechanic is right.

 

same thing happened to my dad in his cavalier it turned out to be his fuel pump

 

you can get the cable at walmart or something. they aren't to expensive.

make sure you tune it properly though, reflashing it with RRM's tune is not gonna help

 

Ok well car hasnt turned off in 2 days since i put that formula in my gas tank..have to deplete gas tank, and will see what happens..gonna go buy the cable, ROck says i need a usb converter as well..and see what everything is running at?

 

Update:its been 3 days and it hasnt shut off, I just found the serial cable to connect to my pb. But i cannot seem to connect to ecu, it gives me error every time.

And as for cd player and clock, Still dead and dont know what to do..

Ok well i fixed the problem with clock and cd player, and car has yet to shut off since i put that treatment in my gas tank..and its been a good 6 days.

But now im having problems with conneccting my laptop to my PB..it says comport error....

 

Take off the damn piggyback!!!
