Tach in new dash doe not work. Help.

From all the threads I have read here it would seem to me that I could use a 03 Evo guage cluster in a 02 ES. I did the swap and the tach and speedometer does not work. I put the ES guage cluster back in and they work fine with that dash.

Did I get a bad cluster or is there a wire/wires I need to change?

I feel stupid. I got a schematic printout of the dash. When I started to look the guagecluster over I noticed that the tach needle was below the shaft that stops the needle. I moved it to the top side where it should be and everything is ok.

Also in another post I asked if an Evo dash would fit inplace of the ES. The answer is yes it does. I feel dumb on that one as well.

I am here to learn and this was one way for me to learn all this. Thanks to all and I hope all my other lessons are not this bad of a lesson to learn.
