2 vibrations in 1?
I've got a set and haven't been well enough lately to install them, but I bookmarked this guide from DangerousDan.

Just an FYI for anyone who would want to check the wheel bearings, jack up the front tires (jack on the frame not the control arm) and shake the wheel from side to side and up and down. A bad wheel bearing will have movement similar to a bad tie rod only it will have the same amount of play in any direction you shake the wheel.
Well I have to wait to change the mounts. I had to order them, since no one stocked them. I did check them out from under the car. The front one is torn on the top side and the rear is torn on top and bottom. I should have the new ones in a few days?
I got my new mounts put in the car. The back one is a pain in the back side to do. The car shifts better, but the vibration is still there. Guess I will have to keep looking for it.
Im in Shippensburg to. Do you drive a yellow lancer?
Just saw that your last post was back in July, dam. Well hope you got it fixed by now
I think I have seen you? I do not have one of the yellow ones. Mine is just a ES with aftermarket rims. It has a green strip on the side.
What I have done so far is as follows.
1) New rims and tires. Balanced 2 times.
2) Alighnment at Shetron's Tires.
3) New rotors and pads up front.
4) Hubcentric rings on the rims.
5) Checked wheel bearings.
I am now looking in the direction of CV Axles. The vibration seems to go away at times then is back the next time you drive the car. It is a strange vibration.

i have same issue where the balance of tires would fix the issue for a little then it is back. I have new brakes have to check the motor mounts thou. and the vibration is most noticable around 70-80 cruising speed not accelerating.
let me know if you figure it out

i had that same issue with my lancer when i bought it. it had 50k on it and a vibration from 50-65 and then above that would go away. found it was my drivers side axle. no big deal easy to replace and solved the problem. only bad part was i had to purchase directly from mitsubishi 500 dollars for the axle. but it sounds similar to your concern. hope this can help you out.
it may only be one of your axles also. probably not both causing the vibration. if you know how to check for wheel bearing noise you can isolate the noise to the correct axle. take a left hand turn going around the speed you feel the vibration if it gets worse then it would be your passenger side axle. this is because of the stress and extra force being pushed down on the axle. and do the same with a right turn to isolate it.

I have the same problem also. All is good up to 45-50. But 50+, my steering wheel vibrates like crazy. As of late, I can also feel the vibration on the foot rest (Automatic), It's weird... I'm gonna try having my tires balanced and my wheels re-alligned and see if that works before I start looking into replacing everything.
